I played with the ChocZero White Chocolate Dipping Cups last night. 🙂...

I played with the ChocZero White Chocolate Dipping Cups last night. ?? I made 3 different low carb candies – literally in a matter of minutes: a white chocolate raspberry truffle, white/dark chocolate swirl, and a white chocolate peanut butter cup. ¦ YUM!

Plus… it tastes just like REAL white chocolate and dark chocolate! It’s rich, creamy, and makes the most decadent individual low carb desserts.

~

Assuming you’ve seen my original post & review (above) with the photo tour of my first batch of low carb candies with ChocZero, here’s a follow-up now that I’ve had a chance to 1) travel with the dipping cups ?? and 2) try the white chocolate cups!

I had frozen raspberries and used the smaller pieces out of the bottom of the bag (18 grams) – and made them right in the little ChocZero dipping cups!

All you have to do is peel the top back, warm up the cup in the microwave until the chocolate is melted and creamy (I do 10 seconds, stir & repeat until it’s just right), add in whatever you want, pop them in the freezer to set up…

Then you pull them out of the freezer and enjoy:

The dipping cups serve as “candy molds” and you can pop your individual low carb candy treats right out of the cups for perfectly portioned keto desserts!

I had a little bit of dark chocolate leftover from another cup, so I made a white chocolate peanut butter cup next – and topped it without some of the dark chocolate. ??

That totally rocked my socks! ?? Amazingly delicious!!

Next I decided to mix a dark chocolate and white chocolate dipping cup together and make a creamy swirl:

As you can see I cut them in half, which is easy enough to do with a sharp knife – even when they’re frozen. I find them to be a LARGE low carb candy, so I will cut them in half to get two treats out of one. ??

The white chocolate raspberry candy was definitely my favorite of the three last night!

Did I mention it only takes a couple of minutes to make an individual low carb dessert? Or THREE totally different treats? ??

I love that!

That makes it great for portion control, but also great for fun & creative HEALTHY low carb party trays. ??

Here are the three I made last night, cut in halves – which I find to be about the perfect size for a nice treat:

I mentioned I just got home from a low carb road trip, and I took the Dark Chocolate Dipping Cups with me on the road. So I want to show you just how portable and easy (and fun!) these are for a low carb treat – anywhere, anytime!

This was in my hotel room in Asheville, NC the other day…

I had some peanut butter, almonds, almond butter and a few other snacks with me, plus the dipping cups of course, so I decided to make myself some treats to enjoy. ??

My hotel room had a microwave and a refrigerator, which is all you need. I had a plastic knife in my bag too, which I used to stir the chocolate.

I just peeled back the top, microwaved the chocolate, and added different things to each cup to make a variety of candy to enjoy:

Then I popped them in the hotel freezer to set up, and headed out for my concert – knowing I’d have a dreamy creamy chocolate dessert when I got back. ??

I love that it’s no mess, no fuss!

I still had some left when I checked out of my hotel on Sunday, so I just dropped them back into the canister they came in, and they traveled all the way home and back in MY freezer just fine. ??

What a brilliant invention!!

Of course just like before, they pop right out of the dipping cups and you have the perfectly portioned low carb desserts – ready to eat:

My favorite from that batch was the Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Cup. The texture and flavor combo was PERFECT. ??

Here’s the peanut butter cup I made in my hotel room:

As you can see (bad lighting in my room and all, lol) it’s a really good sized dessert. Perfect for making an individual treat for yourself:

And here’s the BIG “Sweet & Salty Almond & Dark Chocolate Bar” I made by adding a full serving (28 grams) of salted almonds to a dark chocolate dipping cup:

How cool is it that you can make them on the go, travel with them, or create gorgeous party plates at home that look like gourmet candies?!

~

A fun, easy way to make healthy low carb treats – with no mess!

I love the fact that ChocZero does NOT use sugar alcohols in their chocolate dipping cups, just good quality ingredients.

Raspberries are pretty tart, so I bet strawberries would be even better. ?? But I did love the tart & sweet combo! The white chocolate is definitely a WINNER. They really nailed this recipe. It tastes JUST like white chocolate, you would never guess it’s sugar free. Don’t you agree?! ??

I cannot wait to get my White Chocolate cups…1 net carb a piece makes them sound perfectly amazing to me. I plan to first make a peanut butter cup…and then probably pecans or almonds…oh gosh…yum! ?? I also got the Darkest chocolate they had squares because they were 1 g a piece too. I have some sugar free hershey’s and reese’s to eat up. I got them to avoid Halloween candy but I really do want to try to avoid the frankenfood of sugar alcohols…thanks Lynn, you got me again! hahah

I love that they are so low carb too! ?? And definitely the fact that they do NOT have sugar alcohol. That is a really big selling point for me. I am almost amazed at how sweet they are with no sugar and no sugar alcohol. They actually taste like real chocolate that IS full of sugar. So creamy & delicious too. ?? YUM!

I’m slow to post but I love using these to top off peanut butter fat bombs. I just make my peanut butter and coconut oil (50/50) bombs in the silicone tray leaving a little room on top and chill to slightly harden. Then I gave it a light sprinkle of kosher salt (crunch!) melted the choc zero dipping cup and drizzled on top and finished freezing. Closest thing to a Reese’s peanut butter cup yet – salty, sweet and addictive!!

The Best Healthy Fast Food Options

Fast-food stores are plentiful and fast food has the reputation of being unhealthy, while an increasing number of large chains are adding more nutritious options to their menus.

Sockets that allow more customization of orders tend to have lower calorie or more feeder selections. However, there are currently healthy options on the menu of the largest fast-food chains.

In this article, we'll look at the overall calorie, fat and saturated fat content to find some of the healthiest options that seven big fast-food chains have to offer.

Note, however, that calories and fat are only two aspects of how healthy a meal is fed. If a person eats only fast food, it is not possible to get the necessary nutrients such as vitamins and fiber.

1. Subway

Sandwich with cheese and vegetables

One person can customize Subway sandwiches to choose healthy fillings.

Metro specialize in deli style sandwiches or "sub". As a person can customize every "sub", Subway can be one of the healthiest healthy fast-food chains.

Some of the best sandwich options are on the Subway's Fresh Fit menu. The 6-inch Turkey Breast sandwich with nine wheat bread contains 250 calories and 3 grams of fat, including 0.5 g of saturated fat.

A healthy vegetarian option, Veggie Delite in nine wheat bread. This "bottom" contains only 2 g calories, does not contain 2 g total fat and saturated fat. It also has one of the lowest sodium levels (salt) compared to other sandwiches.

Subway also offers salads that can be a low-calorie alternative to a sandwich. All salads include lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, onions, cucumbers, green peppers and olives.

2. Taco Bell

Taco Bell is another great fast-food chain with a variety of healthy options. The ability to personalize each order allows people to choose more vegetable-like nutrients.

According to Taco Bell's website, three-quarters of its menus are under 500 calories. Some of the lowest calorie options are the Fresco menu, which uses regular sauce and cheese instead of vegetable based salsa.

One of the healthiest options is Chicken Soft Taco. Each taco contains about 170 calories, 8 g fat, containing only 3 g of saturated fat.

Bean Burrito is a vegetarian option containing 11 g fat, 380 calories, including 4 g of saturated fat.

3. Chipotle

Vegetable burritos

Vegetarian options are lower in fat than meat options.

Chipotle is a Mexican-style chain that specializes in tacos and burritos. Similar to Subway and Taco Bell, Chipotle allows people to customize their meals to include healthy choices.

Healthy options are burritos or white rice instead of white rice. In a chicken bowl bowl containing fresh tomato salsa and brown rice, there are 415 calories, 13 g fat and 4 g saturated fat.

For a lower calorie, vegetarian option, people can choose a plate of bean curd, brown rice and a sofritas patty with lettuce. It contains 365 calories, 10 g fat and 1.5 g saturated fat. Adding sauce will increase the number of calories.

4. McDonald's

McDonald's had the reputation of being unhealthy, but they recently reaffirmed themselves to offer a variety of fresh and nutritious ingredients. Some of these changes may be cosmetics, while McDonald's has better options.

Fillet-O-Fish contains 390 calories and 4 g of saturated fat from 19 g of total fat. Bacon Ranch Grilled Chicken Salad contains only 320 calories and 6 g of saturated fat from a total of 14 g.

5. Burger King

Burger King is one of the largest burger chains in the United States, but has a limited number of healthy options. But some choices are a little healthier than others.

It contains a normal, simple hamburger, 10 g total fat, 3.5 g saturated fat, and 240 calories. Grilled Chicken Sandwich contains 470 calories, 3.5 g saturated fat and 19 g fat.

BK Veggie Burger can be a healthier option among these examples. Contains 2,5 g of saturated fat, 390 calories and 17 g of fat.

6. Wendy

Baked potato with knife, sour cream and cheese filling on plate

Baked potatoes can be a healthy fast-food option.

Wendy is another common fast-food chain that allows people to personalize their orders to make their choices healthier.

The menu of the chain is not abundant in healthy options, but some meals are able to customize to lower the calorie content.

Salads are also available, and if a person chooses some of the half-size salad choices, they can stay below 500 calories.

With a few vegetarian options at Wendy's, Sour Cream and Chive Baked Potatoes
