After having an appendectomy years ago, a sweet friend of mine brought potato soup to my house for dinner while she was recovering. He was polite enough to share the recipe that contained Swiss cheese as a secret ingredient. Since then, I've been adding some Swiss cheese to the potato and broccoli soup. It adds a subtle flavor, but in my opinion too. That was amazing! The trick is to heat the cream in a separate sauce container. When it is hot, add the cheese while whipping the cream cheese sauce. No clumping, no need to gently add uber cheese, just logically. Then add to the mixture of hot chicken stock and beat. Make sure the whipped broccoli is hot before putting it together. It works great! The taste was very rich and yum and I changed the 1/2 conditioner to 1/2 c chicken stock for stock to reduce calories! I like to mash the broccoli cooked for this soup. BK Veggie Burger can be a healthier option among these examples. Contains 2,5 g of saturated fat, 390 calories and 17 g of fat.

6. Wendy
