Poached Egg: How to poach an egg perfectly

Boiled eggs are a nice thing. The whites are solid enough to contain an ozone, golden yellow in a round egg package on the outside. With a few tips you can learn how to boil one egg at a time!

Boiled eggs are one of the products I frequently order in restaurants, but they don't make them very often at home. Why? I think it's hard to get this perfect, spherical shape without many crazy white fairies.

However, scavenger hunting is one of the best cooking methods for creating healthy eggs. So today I'll share a few tips with you to make perfect boiled eggs. I have tested every method under the sun (vinegar, salt, rotating vortex, etc.) and I will share with you the true and correct method that works with you.

Watch Our My Boiled Eggs Video To See These Tips In Process

Once you hang it, boiled eggs are easy. However, if you are beginner, be sure to watch my tutorial video. I walk you through the process step by step!

Non-Business (and Non-Business) Tips

Salt: I have seen that adding salt to water creates whiter nymphs. Salt increases the density of the water, which makes the egg whites swim and spread more. In other words, a very unpleasant boiled egg.

Decision: Don't.

Vinegar: Since I did not want my eggs to taste like vinegar, I decided to add vinegar to my water. It seems that you should add some vinegar to transfer any flavor of vinegar to the egg. I saw that adding a tablespoon of vinegar to a light-colored vinegar did not taste the egg, but kept the egg white together.

Ruling: Optional, but I do.

Turning a Vortex: We've all heard that the best method for boiled eggs is to leave them in a rotating vortex, right? That's right. This helps to create a more spherical shape as egg whites are wrapped around them. But it's real. If you are just cooking a boiled egg, go for it. If you cook more than one boiled egg - do not be afraid to swirl. Your egg may not be so spherical, but you can cook several people at the same time and they will still be delicious.

Ruling: Yes, for an egg. No, for more than one egg.

Fine Mesh Sieve: This is the only end that produces consistently GOOD boiled eggs. When you break an egg, you will notice that it is a harder white and more liquid white. This liquid white is what creates all this white hair. Therefore, insert the egg into a fine sieve / strainer and leave only the harder white surrounding the yolk after the thinner white liquid has been removed.

Ruling: Do.

Deep Water Pot: After trying both the normal water pot (4 inches deep) and a saute pan filled with water (2 inches deep), I will say that the deeper pot creates a more classical spherical or tear shape. This is because when the egg falls into the water, the yolk sinks first and remains white. You can still make boiled eggs in a more shallow bowl, but the shape will be flat - similar to a fried egg.

Ruling: Use a container containing at least 4 inches of water.

Ramekin: Most of them say that they first crack the egg in a ramek and then pour the egg into the water. And I agree. Using a ramekin ensures that your egg 1) breaks properly with an unbroken egg yolk, 2) there is no shell in the egg, and 3) you can spill the egg more easily with just one quick movement. Now, combine this method with a fine screen and you'll get a winning combination.

Ruling: Do.

Fresh Eggs are the Best

Now that you have 6 tips for making the best boiled eggs, there's a tip that can't be ignored. And it uses the freshest eggs possible. This is the most important factor in determining the success of your boiled eggs. Fresh eggs have harder whites, less liquid whites, and only keep their spherical shape better.

Ideally, this means that you get fresh eggs in the morning that you hunt eggs. But let's be honest, most of us don't go to the market just to have breakfast. Therefore, if you use the tips above, you still have the best chance to make perfectly boiled eggs.

How Much Egg Poach?

For a hard white and runny yolk you want to boil the eggs for 3-4 minutes. I prefer a 3 minute boiled egg. And remember that if you plan to pour some eggs ahead of time and then reheat them, reheating can make the eggs a little harder.

Can you beat the eggs ahead of time?

Exactly! After the eggs have finished hunting, place them in an ice-water bath and store in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.

When you want to eat them, add some hot water to a small bowl or cup and add the boiled egg until warm (about 20-30 seconds).

Making Boiled Eggs (Excellent)

Well, do you trust your egg hunting skills? To summarize all the above information, here is how to boil an egg:

Boil a large pot of water, then lower (or turn off the heat).

Break the egg with a thin sieve (on a small bowl) and remove the liquid whites.

Transfer the egg to a small ramekin or bowl.

Add a tablespoon of light vinegar to the pot and stir to form a vortex.

Pour the ramekin into the middle of the vortex with the egg and set a timer for 3 minutes.

Once the egg is made, use a slotted spoon to remove the boiled egg. To remove excess water, immediately press with a paper towel and eat immediately.

Mix the vinegar in water and form a vortex. Add the egg to the middle of the vortex and cook the egg for 3 minutes.

Remove the egg with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel to remove excess water. Serve immediately.

Alternatively, transfer the cooked boiled eggs to an ice-water bath and prepare them for several days to prepare or prepare the boiled eggs. When you are ready to serve, add boiling water to a bowl, then add the cold boiled egg and dip for 20-30 seconds or until warm. Remove the boiled egg with a slotted spoon, dry and serve immediately.

I'm from Dominican Dominican and I'm flour rookie into the kitchen and I did it for breakfast for my mother. The first 2 was a disaster, but the second 2 was just perfect. My mother was surprised. That's great, thank you.

These eggs are great !! A few things I want to pay attention to: if you have chickens and the eggs you use come directly from chickens, you don't have to force them. In addition, the closer you bring your egg to the water, the harder and better the result.

Oh my God! I wanted to make a definite recipe with boiled eggs, but we postponed it for a year because of the eggs! Isn't he crazy? I found your video, it's great! We moved forward and made the perfect egg for the first time!

Then I made the recipe for a blog picture. The first egg came out really well, but I started greed and burned three more eggs: / I had to wake my husband (I was shaking the night before, it was 10 o'clock, I don't feel too bad);) but he came out and saved the boiled egg and blog picture.

Thank you for your time, effort and all the guesswork. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope that if I give all the poached egg victory soon and I link it to your blog and video, it will be okay.

Thanks a lot Lisa! Now I know how to boil the eggs. (Soft boil them too - thanks for that!) I really appreciate the time you spend doing research and testing. I have read many methods and did a few tests, but nothing did so perfectly boiled eggs. I've never heard of draining the eggs, and I think I've always used salt. Now I know, TAH-DAH! 6 trials, 6 beautiful boiled eggs. Extinguishing and reheating at the same time escape from the house. Thanks again.

When I usually get warm noodles (I just didn't judge), I found that my eggs and turkey eggs boiled better than chicken eggs, because whites and yolks are usually thicker. They also have much more taste. I know that not everyone has access to turkey eggs, but if you have the opportunity, I recommend them for boiled eggs.

I didn't have much luck with this method. I tried twice, but to no avail. It ended with what looked like a hard boiled egg with the egg whites being made first and the egg white put on the cliff for the second time. Soon I will take another shot çekim. Fingers crossed.

The Best Healthy Fast Food Options

Fast-food stores are plentiful and fast food has the reputation of being unhealthy, while an increasing number of large chains are adding more nutritious options to their menus.

Sockets that allow more customization of orders tend to have lower calorie or more feeder selections. However, there are currently healthy options on the menu of the largest fast-food chains.

In this article, we'll look at the overall calorie, fat and saturated fat content to find some of the healthiest options that seven big fast-food chains have to offer.

Note, however, that calories and fat are only two aspects of how healthy a meal is fed. If a person eats only fast food, it is not possible to get the necessary nutrients such as vitamins and fiber.

1. Subway

Sandwich with cheese and vegetables

One person can customize Subway sandwiches to choose healthy fillings.

Metro specialize in deli style sandwiches or "sub". As a person can customize every "sub", Subway can be one of the healthiest healthy fast-food chains.

Some of the best sandwich options are on the Subway's Fresh Fit menu. The 6-inch Turkey Breast sandwich with nine wheat bread contains 250 calories and 3 grams of fat, including 0.5 g of saturated fat.

A healthy vegetarian option, Veggie Delite in nine wheat bread. This "bottom" contains only 2 g calories, does not contain 2 g total fat and saturated fat. It also has one of the lowest sodium levels (salt) compared to other sandwiches.

Subway also offers salads that can be a low-calorie alternative to a sandwich. All salads include lettuce, tomatoes, spinach, onions, cucumbers, green peppers and olives.

2. Taco Bell

Taco Bell is another great fast-food chain with a variety of healthy options. The ability to personalize each order allows people to choose more vegetable-like nutrients.

According to Taco Bell's website, three-quarters of its menus are under 500 calories. Some of the lowest calorie options are the Fresco menu, which uses regular sauce and cheese instead of vegetable based salsa.

One of the healthiest options is Chicken Soft Taco. Each taco contains about 170 calories, 8 g fat, containing only 3 g of saturated fat.

Bean Burrito is a vegetarian option containing 11 g fat, 380 calories, including 4 g of saturated fat.

3. Chipotle

Vegetable burritos

Vegetarian options are lower in fat than meat options.

Chipotle is a Mexican-style chain that specializes in tacos and burritos. Similar to Subway and Taco Bell, Chipotle allows people to customize their meals to include healthy choices.

Healthy options are burritos or white rice instead of white rice. In a chicken bowl bowl containing fresh tomato salsa and brown rice, there are 415 calories, 13 g fat and 4 g saturated fat.

For a lower calorie, vegetarian option, people can choose a plate of bean curd, brown rice and a sofritas patty with lettuce. It contains 365 calories, 10 g fat and 1.5 g saturated fat. Adding sauce will increase the number of calories.

4. McDonald's

McDonald's had the reputation of being unhealthy, but they recently reaffirmed themselves to offer a variety of fresh and nutritious ingredients. Some of these changes may be cosmetics, while McDonald's has better options.

Fillet-O-Fish contains 390 calories and 4 g of saturated fat from 19 g of total fat. Bacon Ranch Grilled Chicken Salad contains only 320 calories and 6 g of saturated fat from a total of 14 g.

5. Burger King

Burger King is one of the largest burger chains in the United States, but has a limited number of healthy options. But some choices are a little healthier than others.

It contains a normal, simple hamburger, 10 g total fat, 3.5 g saturated fat, and 240 calories. Grilled Chicken Sandwich contains 470 calories, 3.5 g saturated fat and 19 g fat.

BK Veggie Burger can be a healthier option among these examples. Contains 2,5 g of saturated fat, 390 calories and 17 g of fat.

6. Wendy

Baked potato with knife, sour cream and cheese filling on plate

Baked potatoes can be a healthy fast-food option.

Wendy is another common fast-food chain that allows people to personalize their orders to make their choices healthier.

The menu of the chain is not abundant in healthy options, but some meals are able to customize to lower the calorie content.

Salads are also available, and if a person chooses some of the half-size salad choices, they can stay below 500 calories.
