Summary Egg salad always comes to mind when it comes to spring and summer recipes. It is light, healthy and can be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner (always a fan of the breakfast item for dinner).
But if you want to take a step in your egg salad recipe and make your belly happy, it's as simple as adding an avocado and some fresh herbs. Think classically as the return of California. And I guarantee you will love it!
Don't overdo the avocado. Avocado is naturally creamy and as soon as you mix ingredients together, the avocado starts to break. It is always nice to have a little more stocky than guacamole texture.
Use fresh herbs. I use chives and parsley but you can also use coriander, basil and even tarragon. Have fun with the flavors.
Use homemade mayonnaise. After you make homemade mayonnaise, you can never buy it from the store again. Incredibly friendly and much more delicious. If you prefer not to use mayonnaise, you can also use sour cream or yogurt (they also do not contain milk).
How to make Avocado Egg Salad?
It is as easy as adding all items to a bowl and mixing. Seriously. You can have an avocado egg salad garnished with lettuce leaves or on top of your favorite bread (I recommend my paleo pumpkin bread).
This recipe is best made fresh, but you can store it in the refrigerator for up to two days. This is less than normal egg salad, because in two days the avocado in this recipe will start to oxidize and turn brown. Still, I doubt anything will ever happen. In fact, this recipe can also easily double or triple. Enjoy!
Now as a 'foodie' member in Keto, I had to try this recipe when I came across it. Didn't disappoint! The only thing I did differently was to add roughly chopped 4-5 pieces of bacon and it was simply outstanding.
Definitely a keeper and totally friendly to Keto.

BTW; The next time you do the guacamole, try the squirt of Key-Lime juice instead of the normal lemon juice. What you're sure to like is a nice shot!
Great recipe! I never thought about it, but I love it. Mine's a little more guacamole egg salad. I used pico de gallo instead of cutting fresh herbs and onions, I used lemon juice instead of lemon juice.

Great recipe! After dinner last night, I left the grilled chicken breast pieces and mixed the recipe a bit, and then I crushed the bacon pieces. It was great!
Delicious!! It's a very easy recipe to throw together and it's delicious - I'm having a hard time not eating everything in one sitting! I didn't have lettuce in my hand, so I ate with Almond Nut Thins. I will definitely do this weekly!
I just finished it. I added a few chopped Mediterranean basil leaves. Piece is used in swimsuits and semi-sour cream. Although I didn't have time to blend the flavors, I had to try. Yummy! I can't wait until it's time to mix. Definitely to keep a recipe.

2. Taco Bell
Taco Bell is another great fast-food chain with a variety of healthy options. The ability to personalize each order allows people to choose more vegetable-like nutrients.
According to Taco Bell's website, three-quarters of its menus are under 500 calories. Some of the lowest calorie options are the Fresco menu, which uses regular sauce and cheese instead of vegetable based salsa.
One of the healthiest options is Chicken Soft Taco. Each taco contains about 170 calories, 8 g fat, containing only 3 g of saturated fat.
Bean Burrito is a vegetarian option containing 11 g fat, 380 calories, including 4 g of saturated fat.
Vegetarian options are lower in fat than meat options.
Chipotle is a Mexican-style chain that specializes in tacos and burritos. Similar to Subway and Taco Bell, Chipotle allows people to customize their meals to include healthy choices.
Healthy options are burritos or white rice instead of white rice. In a chicken bowl bowl containing fresh tomato salsa and brown rice, there are 415 calories, 13 g fat and 4 g saturated fat.
For a lower calorie, vegetarian option, people can choose a plate of bean curd, brown rice and a sofritas patty with lettuce. It contains 365 calories, 10 g fat and 1.5 g saturated fat. Adding sauce will increase the number of calories.
McDonald's had the reputation of being unhealthy, but they recently reaffirmed themselves to offer a variety of fresh and nutritious ingredients. Some of these changes may be cosmetics, while McDonald's has better options.
Fillet-O-Fish contains 390 calories and 4 g of saturated fat from 19 g of total fat. Bacon Ranch Grilled Chicken Salad contains only 320 calories and 6 g of saturated fat from a total of 14 g.
5. Burger King
Burger King is one of the largest burger chains in the United States, but has a limited number of healthy options. But some choices are a little healthier than others.
It contains a normal, simple hamburger, 10 g total fat, 3.5 g saturated fat, and 240 calories. Grilled Chicken Sandwich contains 470 calories, 3.5 g saturated fat and 19 g fat.
BK Veggie Burger can be a healthier option among these examples. Contains 2,5 g of saturated fat, 390 calories and 17 g of fat.
