Summer is just around the corner. This is amazing. Just a couple of weeks ago, there was a snow storm, and now 80 degrees day and sun and grille weather are here. Love the grill air. Everything is great, from burgers and grilled buffalo wings to the grill on these sweet and spicy pineapple ribs. I was thrilled to team up with Smithfield Fresh Pork to create this rib recipe.

Easter night and the weather is beautiful, usually here or in our father's house are grating. Almost always my father would have a weekend during Easter weekend. My father puts the most difficult Easter egg hunting ever. They must write where they hide all of them, and then myself, my husband and my brothers and their important ones, are running around in this highly competitive chump-throated egg hunt.

It could be a little ugly. But this is fun. You may think there will be great prizes filled in eggs, but no. The grand prize is normally the egg with a dollar bill. That person gets the chocolate bunny. All other eggs normally have things that my father found around the house: paper clips, mustard packs, maybe a little spare change. But we know that the real prize is not the chocolate rabbit. Tramping rights. The winner will rub his sweet victories on his brothers face for the next year.

We're very mature.

This maturity leads to an incredible appetite. If we have dinner at my father's dinner, he usually burns the charcoal grill and throws ribs or hamburgers. This year we might just have to grill these sweet and spicy pineapple ribs. And let me tell you, the grilled ribs are very easy. Just keep an eye on them every time you set them up and let them land slowly. Watch this video for grid suggestions.

These ribs offer great delicacies: pineapple, ginger, bitter sauce slightly zipper. Grilled and omg add to the smoky flavor. Amazing. In addition, using the Smithfield Fresh Pork, it allowed the ribs to be watery and the bone to fall. Be sure to check out Smithfield's site and look for a $ 5,000 gift.

For scrub and spoon, combine all the materials on both sides of the ribs.

Place the ribs on the other side of the grid surface.

Drink cigarettes for 6-8 hours depending on the temperature of the coals. The ribs are made when the meat begins to fall from the bone or the internal temperature is between 190 and 203F for maximum sensitivity.

About 30 minutes before removing it from the grill, brush with pineapple sauce and proceed directly over the fire. Serve hot with extra sauce.

for sauce

For pineapple sauce, combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan and let them simmer. Reduce the heat and stir occasionally and continue stirring for about 30 minutes. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or serve with ribs.

My husband and son definitely like the ribs, but we don't have permission to grill because we live in an apartment. These can be a great alternative because we can bake them in the oven or on the grill. The addition of pineapple sounds delicious! Your Easter celebrations are so funny. I can only imagine that you and your adult family members are looking for eggs. Sounds like a ton of fun!

This egg hunt reminds me of what happened with my cousins ??when I was a kid! And the ribs on the grid are the best way to celebrate winning in egg-hunting. I love the pineapple curves on these ribs al thanks for sharing! #client

What a fun Easter egg hunt! My grandfather would do this for me and my cousins ??and it was fun. What about these ribs. It looks so good! I love pineapple in everything. Grill weather isn't here yet but I can't wait!

Microwave cooking and nutrition

Are microwaves bad for your health? Almost every American house has a microwave. The convenience they offer is undeniable. However, despite the widespread use of microwave ovens and excellent safety recordings, some people suspect that cooking microwaved food makes it somewhat less healthy by removing foods from eating. Do you cook with microwave? Are microwave foods healthy?

How does microwave cooking work?

Understanding how microwave ovens work can help clarify the answers to these general questions. Microwave ovens cook food similar to radio waves but using shorter energy waves. These waves are highly selective, mainly affecting water and other electrically asymmetrical molecules - one end is positively charged and the other is negatively charged. Microwave ovens cause these molecules to vibrate and rapidly generate thermal (heat) energy.

Are microwaves safe to cook?

Some foods, when they are exposed to heat, from a microwave oven or a normal oven, are broken down. Vitamin C is perhaps the most clear example. However, since microwave cooking times are shorter, cooking with microwave does a better job of preserving vitamin C and other nutrients that are decomposed when heated.

When going to the vegetables, cooking in water takes some of the nutritional values ??because the nutrients flow into the cooking water. For example, boiled broccoli loses glycosinolate, a sulfur-containing compound that can give vegetables the ability to fight against cancer (and many find it distinctive and some find it disgusting). Steaming vegetables - even steaming microwave - is it better? In some ways, yes. For example, steamed broccoli holds more glucosinolate than boiled or fried broccoli.

Are microwaves bad for your health?

The method of cooking, which keeps the nutrients in the best way, is a method that quickly heats, warms food and uses as little liquid as possible. The microwave meets these criteria. Using the microwave with a small amount of water evaporates food from the inside out. It contains more vitamins and minerals than almost all other cooking methods and shows that microwave foods can be really healthy.

But let's not get lost in details. Vegetables are good for you in any way you prepare, and most of us don't eat enough. Is the microwave oven good or bad? Microwave is an engineering wonder, a miracle of convenience - and sometimes advantageous in feeding.
