This chicken quesadilla recipe is a perfect combination of Mexican quesadilla and a traditional Greek coyote.
On the weekends, we would like to enjoy some delicious and sometimes exotic food. We decided to make Greek quesadillas in the oven this weekend. I've been robbed.
I like Gyros recipes, traditional Greek dishes and other Mediterranean dishes. I'm also a big fan of Mexican food. A great combination of a good quesadilla and a margarita. So it was a win-win for me to marry with the tradition of these two recipes.
Traditional Greek food
A traditional Greek gyroscope uses pita bread, but there are a ton of carbohydrates in pita. To make low carbohydrates, we used flat coils to fold them by half-baking them in a pan with melted sugars.
We used grilled chicken breast for gyro meat. Our jiro marinade consisted of lemon, rosemary, thyme and thyme. The inner filling includes sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, olives, Tzatziki and white cheese. I like the taste of sun-dried tomatoes with a little sweet bite against white cheese and tzatziki. We used a Greek spice mix for Gyro spices.
How to eat gyro meat for this chicken quesadilla recipe
For this recipe we tried to keep the flesh fat-free. Therefore, we used our convection oven and fried our pan. Spray the marinated chicken breast chops with an olive oil spray. Then we spread each piece on both sides with our Greek spice mixture.
At 400 degrees, it takes only 5 minutes cooking time per edge. After cooking, we used a fork to smash the gyroscope before we threw it to get our Greek quesadilla in.
Collect your Greek chicken quesadilla
After the meat is cooked, it is time to go to the preparation stage of our Greek chicken recipe. Begin by sprinkling the Tzatziki dressing on an evenly wrapped winding. Only add the remaining ingredients to one side of the packaging. Then add the spinach. Third, dig the chicken gyro, sun-dried tomatoes, olives and white cheeses.
Baked Greek Chicken Quesadilla Finishing
The final step is to fold the other half of your Flatout wrap into a pan over medium heat. Cook on both sides until the bread turns to a light brown, then turn and repeat
Fry the chicken for about 5 minutes or at 400 degrees until the chicken is not pink.
Tzatziki sauce spread all over the flatout.
Put spinach, chicken, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and feta cheese on one side of the dressing.
Fold the other half of the package and place it in the pan over medium heat.
Bake until the dressing is light brown.
